  1. Hi sir . Me question how to import shape layer hologram after effect for cinema 4d .redshift animation

    1. Thanks for the question IBM, but I’m afraid I’m not sure what you mean. You want to do a Hologram effect in Cinema 4D? Do you have an example you could send me?

    2. @CG Shortcuts I want you explain me how I design hologram shape layer in after effect and export to cinema 4d

    1. Hey mate, you can get your hands on that final project file on our Patreon page if you want to see exactly how it was done. I just applied the same material to a cylinder and put it at the end there;)

    1. Thanks for the support Yew! I’m pretty happy with 20000! Never thought we’d get that far;) But the more the merrier!

    1. Im sure you could do it, probably not easily though (this is why I bought X Particles;)

  3. Hello Dave! Thanks, I have a serious question, how can I offset a video texture. It’s so confusing. Thanks in advance !!!

    1. Hey Jose, just adjuct the range start to control the frame in your timeline the video starts, then you can offset or edit the video with the movie start and end settings. It is a bit confusing I’ll give you that;) BTW If you didn’t already know about it we now have a Facebook Group if you’d like to get involved http://www.facebook.com/groups/CGShortcuts. Thanks for watching!

  4. Hi Dave, when you clicked on Render preview, your viewport has some sort of basic lighting (GI) settings on, but I dont see any floor/sky layers in there. How do you go about this? Its on STANDARD render settings right?

    1. Hi mate, I just have a curved infinity wall behind the objects in the scene which Ive put on a hidden layer so it wasnt visible in the list, I go through setting the exact thing up in the looping jellybean course on our site;)
