Export Your Cinema 4D Shortcuts Keys

This guide explains how to transfer your Cinema 4D shortcut keys between different versions of the software.

If you experience problems transferring shortcuts, especially in Release 2025, you can create a new shortcut in the newer version to generate a fresh shortcuts file, then copy your old shortcuts data into it and restart Cinema 4D. However, because Maxon sometimes changes tool names and functions between versions, the shortcut transfer may not be completely seamless every time.
