Connect
Discover how to use the Connect generator in Cinema 4D to group multiple objects into a single editable object while keeping their individual geometry separate and intact.
Connect in Cinema 4D is a non-destructive generator that combines several child objects into one unified object without permanently merging their polygons. This allows you to maintain and edit each child object individually while managing them collectively. You can enable welding to merge intersecting points for clean topology, and adjust weld tolerance to control the merging precision. This tool is especially useful for organizing complex assemblies, preparing objects for Boolean operations, and improving overall scene workflow.
