Dynamic Lipstick Effect in C4D
A dynamic Cinema 4D setup where lipsticks are physically launched from a holder, bounce onto the floor, and leave realistic contact marks.
This project file demonstrates a full dynamic simulation in Cinema 4D, inspired by a render from Federico Piccirillo and created in response to a request from Jonathan on Patreon. The setup uses the old Bullet dynamics system to drive a lipstick holder that reacts physically as lipsticks spawn and shoot out at timed intervals, bouncing naturally across the floor. A vertex map and Alembic workflow are used to capture contact points, allowing for procedural floor marks that blend seamlessly with materials for a visually convincing result.
