Maxon Noise
Maxon Noise is a procedural, GPU-accelerated noise node in Redshift for Cinema 4D that creates detailed, customizable, and animated texture patterns without using bitmaps.
Maxon Noise offers a variety of noise types—like Perlin, Voronoi, and FBM—fully GPU-accelerated for fast, detailed renders. Artists can tweak parameters such as scale, roughness, and animation speed to craft natural surface variations or dynamic effects. It’s widely used for adding dirt, scratches, terrain bumps, or driving material variation in MoGraph setups. Maxon Noise integrates seamlessly with other Redshift nodes, supports animation, and eliminates reliance on bitmaps, making textures scalable and flexible. Pair it with ramps for color control or triplanar mapping for UV-less application.
