Mograph Cache
Discover how to optimize your Cinema 4D workflow by using the MoGraph Cache tag to record and store animation data of MoGraph objects, enabling faster playback, smoother scrubbing, and stable rendering of complex procedural animations.
The MoGraph Cache tag records the computed animation of MoGraph objects like Cloners and Matrices over time, baking effectors, dynamics, and other procedural animations into a cache. This cache improves viewport performance by preventing recalculations during playback and rendering, resulting in smoother previews and consistent final renders. You can choose between caching all frames or just the current frame, and clear or update the cache as your animation evolves. This tool is essential for handling heavy MoGraph setups efficiently and for exporting baked animations for further use.
