it looks like updating the art in the RS material also require the UV channel to be properly named; “text”

I am trying to adjust the ‘print’ on the balloon project – which I was able to do with no problem before when I was testing, but now when I update the material, it aligns all wacky and I am stumped.

Thanks. This is quite a bit of work yeah? The morph tag on the spline is a great idea.
I went in the file to change the size & textures of the boxes and it got a bit hectic. I might need to watch some texture lessons to get a better understanding of polygon selections & materials. Thanks

I tried a version with cubes & nulls along a spline in order to move as desired in space. ( project collect: https://f.io/h1HVSK6y ) The textures aren’t operating as expected when the cubes flip, and overlapping cube seems to be a bit problematic when making adjustments to the type alignment. Additionally, spline animation is a bit chunky. I…

Thanks Dave. The problem without the twist is that the word ‘promise’ is upside down. The other thing that is happening is that the texture seems to be locked and backwards in the c4d file.
Is spline wrap the wrong approach to take?

Is this complicated, or am I making it complicated?
I have text that is meant to slide off of a package, and resolve in a roundel. The complication is the flip of the geometry (with adjusted art on the red side), otherwise, one of the words is upside down and backwards.
Is there a simpler way than the convolution I’ve created? (the red &…
