Cool tutorial! Couldn’t this have been also done in C4D? In which cases would you use Houdini vs. C4D? Any suggestions on learning resources for beginning to use Houdini?

Yeah I quit Houdini, was a bit overkill for the kind of work I do. Might get back into it again someday.
You could definitely do this in C4D, probably much quicker and easier too. Honestly, I haven’t touched Houdini in years. C4D does just about everything I need without having to get too complicated.
Ok, interesting to know. I was happy to have discovered C4D after Maya. Never going back.
Me too, Maya and Max in the beginning but C4D is definitely the easiest to use;)
