I saw this lovely render of a blanket cloth sim and was curious how one would make the fringe elements on the ends of the cloth?

    Quick update on the rug project! 🧵

    I got a working solution last week, modeling (and remodeling) the rug was a massive pain. To fix that, I decided to build a custom plugin that parametrically generates cloth and tassels so you can easily edit them on the fly.

    I’m packaging this into a brand-new toolkit plugin, which I’m hoping to release next week alongside a total website redesign! 🚀

    Getting the simulation, baking, smoothing, UVs, and hair just right is still a complex process, so I’ll definitely be dropping a full tutorial on this. Stay tuned—I’ll be sending out an email blast about the plugin and website launch very soon!
